With cold hands and a warm heart...

I saw some Christmas ornaments at our state fair with a sentiment I wanted to steal.  It went perfectly with the 50 States cartridge I picked up for $5 this summer, too!

I ended up making 2 different versions of this card, not so much because I wanted to, but because despite being super careful, my paper ripped when I was removing it from the pad and I had to work around that!  I actually really like both versions though.  On one card, Wisconsin was run through the Argyle Cuttlebug folder (to sort of look like a sweater).  On the other I ran it through the Snowflakes folder.

This card will be entered in the following challenges:
Skipping Stones Design--sketch challenge
Cardztv--crafty Christmas
Cute Card Thursday--anything goes
More Than Favors--Wacky Wednesday #61--Christmas
Celebrate the Occasion #42--Christmas (no green)

  13. Hi Barb! Fantastic card! Love the sentiment. You had a question on my blog but I didn't see an email addy to contact you, so here I am. About the paperclip angel, there was only one size at Walmart and they measure 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". They're probably the small ones.

The pony beads are from Michaels. I couldn't find any bags of just silver or gold, but they had a multicolor bag that had both in them. I hope this helps.

    Hugs,
    Snoopy :D

  14. Visiting from Robin's Creative Cottage. Like the embossing on the Wisconsin Christmas Cards. Visited Oshkosh, Wisconsin for an airshow back in the 70s when I was living E coast of FL. Happy New Year (from Central TX)!
